De 26-jarige Luikenaar liep een ronde waarin hij vier birdies lukte en ook drie bogeys op zijn scorekaart moest schrijven. Met zijn ronde van één onder par bracht Meyer de Beco zijn totaalscore op 207 slagen, drie onder par.


Met nog achttien holes te gaan telt hij negen slagen meer dan de Engelsman John Gough, die de leiding waarneemt en twee slagen voorsprong telt op de Spanjaard Joseba Torres en de Fransman Maxence Giboudot.
