De 6 uur van Monza werd gewonnen door de Cadillac van Bourdais, Aitken en Bamber, voor de Alpine van Gounon-Martins en de Ferrari van Pier Guidi-Giovinazzi-Calado. De wereldtitel bij de piloten ging naar Buemi, Hartley en Hirakawa voor Toyota, dat al sinds de race in Barcelona zeker was van de wereldtitel bij de constructeurs.
