De GP van Montreal was de tweede WorldTour-wedstrijd op Canadese bodem van dit weekend. Remco Evenepoel won vrijdag al de GP van Quebec (1.UWT). De renner van Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe werd zondag vijfde.


Del Toro volgt op de erelijst de Amerikaan Brandon McNulty op.
