Bakhmutkina en Hodzic gingen in hun tweede ronde (kwartfinale) in een supertiebreak (6-2, 4-6 en 10/2) onderuit tegen de Duitse vrouwen Julia Stusek en Eva Bennemann.

In de eerste ronde van het dubbelspel hadden Bakhmutkina en Hodzic nog de Finse Laura Hietaranta en de Griekse Sapfo Sakellaridi, de derde reekshoofden, uitgeschakeld.

De 27-jarige Bakhmutkina, de enige Belgische op de tabel in Beieren, staat 251e op de wereldranking van het dubbelspel.
