Zijn eerste wedstrijd speelt Iran op 15 juni, tegen Nieuw-Zeeland in Inglewood (Los Angeles). Daar geven de Iraniërs een week later ook de Rode Duivels partij. Op 27 juni spelen ze in Seattle, tegen Egypte.
