Palacios arrive en provenance du Terrassa FC, club de quatrième division espagnole. Il a été formé à Gérone.


Palacios est déjà la troisième recrue de Lokeren-Temse après l'ailier Anisse Brrou (Lokomotiv Sofia) et le milieu de terrain Rune Van Den Bergh (La Gantoise).
