Le Brabançon de Glabbeek, 18 ans, offre une deuxième médaille à la petite délégation belge après le bronze chez les juniores de Lyssa Vansteenkiste dans l'épreuve du kilomètre sur piste lundi.


La délégation belge est réduite cette année à trois membres: Lyssa Vansteenkiste et Stan Beelen chez les juniors, ainsi que Jorun Geerts.


En 2024, la Belgique avait empoché six médailles mondiales.
