L'Ukrainienne, 30 ans, 14e au classement WTA, a sauvé 3 balles de match pour rejoindre les quarts de finale à la Porte d'Auteuil pour la cinquième fois (2015, 2017, 2020, 2023).


Svitolina affrontera en quarts de finale soit la Kazakhe Elena Rybakina (WTA 12), soit la Polonaise Iga Swiatek, 5e mondiale, quatre fois lauréate sur la terre battue parisienne.
